• When Emily reads Hotch’s chart and sees the initials “LC.” She realizes it means Living Children. She calls Reid, who realizes the target isn’t the son but the father.

• The Reaper – he stabbed Hotch 9 times, then dropped him off at St. Sebastian’s hospitals with Morgan’s FBI credentials.
  
  
• Patrick Meyers went after Dr. Barton. He felt Dr. Barton didn’t do anything to save his son who was injured in a car accident and left brain dead. He blamed Dr. Barton, even though there was nothing the Doctor could have done.

• Garcia: [to Reid] “You know for a smart boy, you ask a lot of dumb questions.”
  

• JJ: [quoting Reid, who is on crutches due to his gunshot wound] “Kicking down doors is Morgan’s job anyway.”

• Notice throughout nearly the entire episode, Reid is sitting down. Then nearer to the end, when he realizes that Dr. Barton is the target, he runs outside and pushes him out of the way and gets shot in the process. When it shows him running and pushing the Doctor, it’s Matthew Gray Gubler’s stunt double as Gubler suffered a severe knee injury earlier in the year.
