Synopsis:

When Rossi saw the crime scene for one of the victims and realized part of it was “organized” and tidy and that is what is taught to patients when institutionalized in a psychiatric facility. When another victim was found who had been missing for 9 months, but only dead 72 hours, Hotch realized that the unsub had been freezing the bodies to eat.

Whodunit?

Floyd Feylinn Ferrell. He was a former psychiatric patient who was released when he turned 18. He had been institutionalized because he bit a huge chunk of flesh off his 9 month old sister. He would target athletic women because they had meat on their bones. He killed his victims within 72 hours, then froze them and ate some of them.

Goofs:

When Rossi is quoting “Inferno” by Dante he says “Lasciate ogni speranza ch’entrate,” but it’s really “Lasciate ogni speranza voi ch’entrate” (voi means you).
